FOUNDING ENGINEER
Job Title: Founding Engineer (Flutter + System Architecture) Location: Kolkata, India (Remote-friendly for the right candidate) About the Role Lead the technical vision and execution for DGCS (Digital Green Corridor System) — a real-time, multi-layered platform for emergency vehicle priority, V2V/V2I communication, smart traffic integration, and urban mobility response. Build from prototype v0.1 to production-grade system that saves lives. Key Responsibilities • Architect and hands-on develop core platform (mobile apps, real-time comms, decision engine, offline mesh, infrastructure integration). • Drive end-to-end technical roadmap, pilots, and scalability. • Build and lead small high-impact engineering team. • Navigate regulations, integrations (smart cities, hospitals, traffic systems), and security. • App development and integration with hardware • Electronic hardware development Ideal Candidate Profile • Strong hands-on experience in Flutter/Dart mobile apps, real-time systems (WebSocket, Firebase), and hybrid communication (BLE Mesh, Wi-Fi Direct, Google Nearby). • Deep expertise in IoT, V2X, GPS/positioning, or Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). • Proven ability to build production-grade prototypes involving path prediction, decision engines, physics/motion logic, and safety-critical features. • Experience with full-stack development (Python/Node.js backend, SQLite, cloud/edge hybrid). • Strong system design, architecture, and simulation skills. • India-specific knowledge of smart cities, traffic management, emergency services (108), and regulatory landscape (MoRTH, spectrum, certifications) is a big plus. Start-up mindset Early-stage founder/engineer experience, ownership, rapid iteration, and passion for real-world impact. Qualification 5+ years of relevant experience. CS/EE background from a reputed institute preferred. Demonstrated success in mobility, IoT, or deep-tech start-ups.
